rockgo is a ticketing app for rock concerts and events.
It was designed to give rock fans a space of their own.
App goals
A space for rock fans
An app featuring festivals, concerts, and events related to rock artists.
Engagement
Users can share tickets with other people, encouraging engagement within the app.
Overview
Online ticket sales continue to grow because they offer greater convenience and make the purchasing process faster and easier. Event organizers across the country are increasingly using their own or third-party platforms to host and sell tickets for their events.
“Faster event entry, greater convenience for guests, database storage, and quicker ticket revenue transfers are some of the main reasons online ticket sales continue to grow.” — lets.events
analyzing other platforms
Existing event-ticketing platforms face several issues commonly mentioned in app store reviews, including bugs and difficulties with login, registration, and the purchase flow. These problems make it harder for users to complete their main task: buying tickets.

onboarding
Like many apps, rockgo introduces first-time users to its main purpose and features through an onboarding experience.
sign up
Log in or create an account, then enable location access to discover events near you.

my profile
This section keeps important information within easy reach, helping users find personal details, manage saved cards, and change their current location.

Users can switch between Dark and Light modes, improving energy efficiency on OLED devices and providing a more comfortable viewing experience.
All color standards were based on WCAG accessibility guidelines, and every card containing an image must include alternative text.

Usability test
I evaluated the app’s usability using three metrics, along with heatmaps and click data.
Task success rate
The number of users who successfully complete the purchase flow.
Drop-off rate
The number of users who leave the flow before completing it and the difficulties they experience.
Time on task
How long it takes a user to complete the purchase flow.
User metrics
Using the HEART framework, we evaluated:
Happiness
Whether users can successfully buy tickets for events they are interested in, measured through NPS, app store reviews, and satisfaction surveys.
Engajament
Whether users continue using the app whenever they want to buy tickets, measured through active users and time spent in the app.
Adoption
How branding, advertising, and touchpoints such as social media attract new users, measured through growth rate and new user registrations.
Retention
User retention over time, measured through LTV, churn rate, and the number of support requests opened.
Task Success
Whether users can buy tickets without difficulty, measured through usability tests, the number of tickets purchased, and time on task.
